Before heading out to Hawaii, we had all decided that we were Gilmore Girls fans. We agreed that I would bring all seven seasons to Hawaii and that we'd watch them since we had so much free time. Well, I'm happy to report that although it was quite the stretch, we were able to watch all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls before leaving Hawaii. We finished the final two episodes the night before we left and gave each other kudos for our amazing accomplishment! We determined that there are 153 episodes in all, each lasting about 45 minutes meaning that we watched 6,884 minutes or 115 hours of Gillies while we were in Hawaii. It definitely put a unique twist on our vacation--one that we will never forget.
Basically every day, we would watch an episode while eating breakfast, at any breaks during the day, and during dinner. We loved every minute of our Gillies (the name Shellee gave it)! Although Jen and I had already seen all seven seasons, we would anxiously await our chance to watch the next episode. We timed it perfectly ending the night before departure and it made the trip very personalized and fun! Can't believe we watched that many episodes in a month--that's pretty extraordinary!
